Which thin-set to use for Schluter Ditra?
In the handbook, it states to use unmodified thin-set that meets the ANSI A118.11 standard. Could you please specify which thin-set I should use to adhere DITRA to a cement substrate, and which one to use for attaching ceramic/porcelain tiles onto the DITRA?
I have been using Laticrete 253 Gold for most of my installations

Yes definitely a primer. Prime and bond should be fine.
