Self Leveling Gap
Question on filling a gap from where I dammed off the self leveler:
I have about a 1" wide, ~3/8" deep gap between my tub and the top surface of the self leveler I poured from where I used a strip of foam as a dam to prevent the SLU from flowing under the tub. Picture should help clarify the issue

Originally we were going to use a larger tile and I was going to just fill in with thinset, but now we are using penny rounds, and I'm wondering if I need to patch this, or try to do a small about of self leveler to fill in this gap. I plan on using Laticrete 253 gold based on the post on here, can I fill this gap with that or do I need somethign else?
Appreciate any advice!

Hours really. Lht is 118.4 so I believe it requires more air for curing. So I would let it get nice and hard. Put a fan on it
You say it's only 1\2"? Honestly, I would use WHATEVER I had already open. Regardless of the directions. Ok shoot me!
Rapid set if I needed it dry today for hydroban.
