For the walls I have go board. Will use their silicone for the gaps and screw holes. Can I put the schluter band over that?
For the floor, do I need anything on the subfloor before I do the mud bed?
After the mud bed, I was going to use hydroban, then ditra heat , then schluter membrane. Is that OK?
Bonus question, for niches and step, can I use a bit extra thinset to get a slope?
