Laticrete 4XLT????
About to start tiling the shower, I'm concerned with the working time of the 4XLT, says 15-20 min once it's troweled. Should I go with something else? 12x24 porcelain tile. I'm a beginner so I won't be able to move very fast. I want to use Multimax lite but I'm a little concerned about waste because of my inexperience. Is it worth the extra money going with the Multimax lite for a beginner?

I agree. It can be helpful to trowel the back of the tile instead of the wall to have more control over your timing.
If you don’t know how fast you can cover it, you can get into trouble by not covering it fast enough.
