PEBBLE SHOWER FLOOR DIPS

Hard to tell but in some spots the pebble floor ended up having some small dips in certain areas, which will pool I imagine. It is sloped from the corners to the drain , just a sag here and there. Should we try adding onto the grout where it seemed to have shrunk below the pebbles? Or should it be fine and should dry or make it down to the weep holes.

I think it would help to fill in the dips in the grout that are extra low. In order for the added grout to stick, scrape out a little of the existing grout with a flat head screwdriver. Getting it wet will help it come right out. I like the grout to be removed about 1/4” for a strong new joint. Too thin on the new grout and it will flake if.

Then make sure the existing grout is damp before you add the new.
