Replace float?
Update:
Ended up cutting out the left and right float walls. 1 the plumbing needed moving and 2 we really wanted the shower and bathroom walls to be flush.
Need to move the pluming slightly back now (will be 3rd time it is moved now).
The hardiebacker will be embedded into the existing pan with thinset, taped and hydrobanned/red guarded

So, turns our the float is too thick for the plumbing valves that were put in. Either the contractor who did the float did it too thick or the plumber gave the wrong measurment to him.... the plumber isnt sure if he can push the plumbing out any further going through the wall behind the float or not.
Now I am wondering if there is possibility to just knock off the float on both sides of the shower and just do cement board. The float turned out to be a lot thicker than anticipated causing issues with transisiting the wall from shower to the cement board in bathroom and it would be amazing if they were flush as originally desired. Thoughts as if that can be done without compromising the pan and curb integrity?
I am not calling the float contractor back since he really miffed the niche just spraying flex seal all over the drywall in it and called it done. Tempted to try it myself or try calling another contractor...

Thanks. New plumber finally confirmed its too far in. They want to try and drill thru the float to the brackets in order to move it all or go behind the wall thru the other bathroom. Since im not satisfied with the thickness of the float vs rest of the bathroom, I am going to see if a contractor can nix the float walls on each side will leaving the pan and just do backer so the walls are flush
