LFT Install Materials

I'm trying to nail down the proper materials for installing LFT in a shower. Tile size is 24x48. I have a Schluter system on hand I'd like to use.

My initial thought process for this install was to use either Durock or Perma Base for my backer board, Schluter All-Set to adhere the membrane to the backer, and then use All-Set again to adhere the tile to the wall and foam shower pan.

My main questions are:

1. Is it okay to install tiles as large as 24x48 over Kerdi membrane?

2. Any preferred backer board for Kerdi membrane?

3. What type of thinset? I read in a different thread that Schluter All-Set was recommended.

I'm not completely tied down to using a schluter system, it's just what I have at the moment. Is there a preferred method for LFT tile installs in terms of backer board, waterproofing and thinset?

Hi Devin- All-Set is good but just mix in small batches, it goes off pretty fast. Laticrete LHT plus would give you some more working time.
