Drilling tile for shower rail and sliding door
Next step is to install the hand rail for the hand shower and then sliding doors. I have read the directions over and over, but am not understanding the anchoring for tile situations. Kohler states for tile or solid surfaces to drill a 3/16" hole thru the tile surface and stop. The anchors provided (see picture below) are 1.5" long. I don't want to drill through the water proof membrane that I applied, but I am getting the sense that I have to. Do I fill the hole with silicone and then insert the anchor and screw? Not sure what to do, I think I am over thinking this, but really don't want to take a huge step backwards if I make a mistake.

Oh man. Sorry to see that. What happened? Did you tap the edge on something? Glad everyone is ok, but that is why they use tempered glass!
