5 ft tub to shower drain options?
In process of planning out this tub to shower conversion in a 5 x 8 spare guest bathroom, concrete slab foundation. I had initially planned on a left side linear drain since that's where the current drain is. I like the look of single plane slope and the idea of using full width tiles for the shower floor. However, based on the cleaning & maintenance involved, I'm reconsidering the linear drain. If I go with a bonded flange drain hub, I'm guessing it will need relocated to the center of the 5' x 32" shower footprint? Would a custom rectangular pan sloped to the left and center would feel off-balance? Is this a common option for a shower floor? I'm already planning on demolition into the slab in order to build the shower curbless (dry pack shower pan). Moving the drain wouldn't be the end of the world but it would add much more to the evolution. Just looking for options on where and what to use on this drain....

Thanks Isaac...
