Uneven Kerdi Board
I have one wonky wall that I thought I had flat, however the Kerdi Board is not flat only on the upper third of the wall. Is there an appropriate product that can be used to fill the low area? It would tapper from about 1/2” down to nothing over about a 20” span. I really don’t want to tear out the Kerdi Board if I don’t have to. Everything I’ve read says not to use thin set.

1/2" is a lot to try and fill with thinset. I would pull the board and shim the stud that is low
