Tiled curb failure
My daughter moved into a Denver area house with a newly remodeled bath that includes a walk in curbed shower. The tile wok is attractive and appears well done. But the curb appears to be "swelling" causing the tiles on the top to lift and the grout to separate. What is the likely cause? (I'm thinking water getting to a wood based curb ). What can/should b done. Have pics but can't get them to attach and publish.

Definitely looks likte the wood curb is taking on a lot of water to swell that much. Needs to be taken out and re-done and waterproofed correctly. Unfortuanately, the glass, the curb, the pan, and at least one row of wall tile will need to be taken out to do a proper repair.
