Grout, sealer questions.

Hey guys, I just grouted my new bathroom floor tiles with Mapei unsanded grout. As the color was too light, I used a colored sealant, also Mapei. While applying the sealant, I noticed that in several spots I had made rookie mistakes by sponging too much grout out, leaving several low spots that I can imagine will collect dirt and/or water. Should I remove all the grout in those spots and replace it? Or, just scrape the sealant off and apply more grout... I suspect that even though the grout is new, it wouldn't bond with another layer?

Also, if anyone has any words on the Mapei colored membrane sealant over grout, on both floor tiles and shower tiles (longevity, effectiveness, etc) I'd be glad to hear of your experience!

Hey Eric- You will need to remove at least 50% of the grout joint depth in order for the new grout to be secure. The colored sealant is like epoxy paint, and holds up really well in dry areas, but may need to be reapplied occasionally in wet areas.
