Shower floor tile and securing FloFX drain height
Purchased and installed the FloFX drain assembly. Getting ready to install shower floor with mosaic tile. How do you secure the height on the FloFX drain insert? The tiles don’t go underneath the lip. When I tile around the drain insert can it can easily be pushed down causing it to be way below tile height. It seems if I fill in with thinset I will end up with thinset in the drainage area. I don’t think grout will hold it in place once it’s stepped on when using the shower. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Jason, its looking great! You put thinset under the grate carrier to get it up to the height you need it to be. Take off the yellow cover so if any thinset gets into the drain you can wipe it out.
