Almost done with the bathroom!
Hello,
I have been working on my master bathroom for almost a year now (I also have a full-time job).
I did take about a two month hiatus because my dog, Alto, passed away on my birthday. It was sudden. Then two months later our other dog passed. Alto was next to me throughout most of the shower journey.
Here are some photos. I still need to get the glass installed, paint the trim and install countertops, but it's mostly done!

I even did tile baseboards all the way around! Once I watched all of Isaac's videos and figured out the tile part, that wasn't so bad. It's the LITTLE stuff afterwards that was not fun!
Now I am on to another tiling project. We have a two sided fireplace that a previous homeowner DIY'ed a really bad tile job on both sides. The tile has to be from the 90's, so it is begging for an update.
Did I mention that anywhere I go in public or private I notice the little things in the tile work?
Also, does anyone know anything about tiling a fireplace? It's a prefab unit, so no bricks or anything. Just drywall and a crappy tile job.
Anyway, thank you Isaac!
I almost forgot a pic of my dogs for dog tax:

The process is very similar to tile the fireplace. I'm an overboard guy, so I would use durock from the fireplace to the first stud and drywall the rest. But clearances are usually built into those. I just like to do extra. Have fun. Sorry about the puppy dogs. I have an 18 year old cat and she's gonna leave a big hole when she leaves too
