Wow, multimax lite is really sticky!!
Even taking Isaac's warning into consideration I was still taken by surprise when I mixed up some to tape the Hardi-backer on the fireplace. And it goes a long way, mixed about 1/4 of a bag and still tossed most of it after finishing the taping.
Anyone have good ratios or ways to mix up just a little bit at a time?

Exactly. I’m not the best at math but I usually can figure it out. I’m working on a redguard test and had to find out the amount to use for a small area based on their recommended rate of application. The formula worked pretty good, but it is a little easier working with liquid volume instead of powder weight. I’ve noticed Laticrete has some iffy water recommendations for some of their products. They usually come out way too stiff even mixed at the max recommended amount of water. They told me you can add 10% more water than recommended without compromising the strength.
