Backsplash wall level tolerance?
How much out of level can a wall be when tiling a backsplash? My wall is a bit wavy with maybe 1/8” dip. In some cases I know the wall should be leveled out with mud but I didn’t want to do this unless absolutely necessary. Does someone know the limits on how far out of level the wall can be?

If its mosaic fill the low areas with thinset and let dry. If its subway or larger, just go with it. 1/8" is fine
