Schluter says cannot use their all-set thinset over hydro ban
So, I installed Hydro Ban on the tub surround walls for waterproofing. And as I was considering the thinset I called Laticrete to make sure it was ok to use Schluter all-set on the hydro ban. They told me to call Schluter to verify but thought it would be ok. I called Schluter who then told me that NO I cannot use Schluter all-set over the hydro ban to install my tiles. That the parameters on hydro ban did not meet the needed specifications required for Schluter all set.
What thinset would be best to install my 8" x 20" x 5/16" ceramic tiles?
I've seen Isaac use various laticrete thin sets but can remember which he said he felt was best workability.

From my understanding the multimax lite is best and what I am thinking i should use but wanted to hear your thoughts.

All i used in both my showers is ALL SET over hydro ban and it will adhere as if its been welded together schluter wants you to use schluter, there not in business to support another product. You will be fine i love all set just my preference stuff is like glue and will adhere to anything
