General Tile Discussion

I used self leveling on a 40 sf bathroom/shower and despite what seemed like a successful pour , it did not come out right and in fact the shower area is even worse than before I poured. I think I did not use enough, so it did not flow appropriately even though I used a trowel to spread it. Should I chip it all out? Can I pour another layer on top to fill the depressed areas? Any advice is appreciated!
