Shower Tile Finish (Matte?)
Good Evening. New member. Master bath remodel in work. My wife brought home some tile samples and the store gave her some non-glossy finished tile. Not something I had previously considered. Has anyone installed a non-glossy, matte-like finished tile in the shower and does the rougher surface increase the rate of mineral build-up on the tile vs. a glossy surface? Thanks in advance.

We used a matte black tile in our master shower replacement. Before making our final tile selections we put all the canidate tiles in the shower for a month of normal use and surprising the matte black still looked like new while the others all had water and soap spots.
We finished the full project about a month ago and the shower still looks like it was completed yesterday.
