HAMMER DRILL!!
If you need to drill out tile for anything invest in a hammer drill its night in day.. made my life easy in very quick.. plus you dont run off the tile like with a regular drill in screw up a nice laid tile... i literally drilled 6 holes in 5 minutes at 1in 5/8 round..

Thanks! I have a few hammer drills, but I never thought of using that setting for tile. It probably would have saved me a lot of grief drilling holes for the shower door, and time with other cutting tasks. I'll give it a try.
