FULL TILE AT THE CEILING
I am using 12 x 24 tile on my bathroom wall and shower, setting them horizontal. Using a full tile at the top gives me about 3.75" at the bottom. Should I split the difference? Tiles have an indiscriminate design to mimick natural stone with a 1/16+ grout joint. Any thoughts?

I would probably do full tile at the top with the 3-3/4” cut at the tub. But some would argue against that and put the full tile at the tub.
One reason I like the cut at the tub is because the tubs are rarely perfectly level.
