Recommendation for proper material to bring a recessed area in slab up to floor level
Tub to shower conversion. The area where the tub was is recessed about 1.5" Roughly 30" by 60" Need to fill it with something to bring it up to floor level, once drain is replaced. Assuming final coat of self leveling compound. I am prepping for an RSS shower pan.

As a follow up question, what is your opinion on curing time of this dry pack prior to installing the RSS pro pan. Is there a minimum or maximum time I should wait before installing pan? If I have to do a self leveling, is there a recommendation of wait time between the 2, as well?
