Removing part of wall

Hello. Working on my bathroom remodel and need some help on whether or not I can remove some posts. Right by the bathroom door there was a small closet with a bifold door. Right behind the closet is the vent for the furnace that extends up to the roof. The depth of the closet does not reach the depth of the actual bathroom because of the vent stack. I plan on installing floating shelves in the closet and not installing a door so it is open. I want to remove the small side wall of what was the closet. This way when in the bathroom, you can see the floating shelves. I also think it will open up the room in general. I am not sure if I can remove the posts and the top and bottom plate. The area I want to remove in the pictures is outlined in blue tape. I hope the pictures help to make sense my poor description lol. Your help is appreciated.

Honestly it’s hard to tell if it’s load bearing from the pics. If it’s just sitting on the subfloor without a floor joist directly under it you’re good to go. If it is sitting directly on top of a floor joist it would be good to know what is directly above and below to make sure it’s not supporting anything critical.
