15" x 30" porcelain tile overlap recommendations.
Why does the manufacturer of my 15 x 30 recommend no more than 1/3 tile overlap?
They say don't use a brick bond pattern.

Because the tiles have inherent warpage in them and it causes excess lippage. If you use a leveling system you can do a 1/2 overlap because it will bend the tiles as you tighten down the clips.
