Shower bench design/support
I’m trying to figure out the design and support for a large corner shower bench. The bench is next to the curbless/no door entry so I think a floating bench will keep from hitting toes on the vertical walls of a standard bench. Bench will likely be large quartz slab.
My question is how to support a floating bench in a corner? Are metal brackets that attach to the studs the best approach?
Walls will be hudroblok and floor will be mud with flofx membrane.
Brackets a good choice?

I feel like the edge of that bench is just waiting to crack. I would prefer a large angled bench in the corner. You could use the better bench system or schluter u channel profile and foam.
