Kurdi curb
I purchased a kurdi kit for my custom shower. For the curb, it came with the kurdi curb. Will the weight of the shower glass be sufficient with using the KurdI curb. I’m just don’t want to have a problem with the glass subcontractor.
so is it fine to use the kurdi curb. the opening is 58”.

We like to use 2” kerdiboard to make our own curbs with cement board on top, like Zack said. Wrap it all in membrane afterward and you have a very solid curb. Or you can make it out of kiln dried 2x4, wrap in cement board, then wrap with Kerdi.
