Thinset over plywood
I have 5/8" plywood floor mounted on pier and beam. Plan on laying down 1/4" of Thinset then lay down 1/4" of Hardie backer board and screwing it down. I don't know know if this is exterior grade plywood. Should I be putting down a layer of tar paper on top of the plywood?
