I have that 7" Ridgid tile saw.
The sled is metal. Tile grinds and slides if not careful when cutting. Workable, but...
...what if I coated it with plasti-dip, or even sprayed it with Flex Seal to rubberize it.
Good idea, or facepalm? I guess it's worth trying either way.
