I am about to embark on a journey i hope i dont regret. But i have been getting the necessary supplies and have everything to complete the water proofing of my shower. I have watched about every video you have avilable. (Thank you)

I was just curious if you had a conclusion video for water proofing membrane with a sealent, instead of the traditional thinset for a kerdi membrane?

I just am asking because watching your videos and seeing how the water tests have weeped through the thinset, is there any added protection i should try, in conjunction with thinset? or without it.... either way the sealants seem to be an easier option in my untrained mind.

Just looking for your thoughts before I instal the boards and shower pan,
