Merry Christmas
Hey guys, first off thank you all so much for being supporters of this forum. I have really enjoyed watching your projects this year and seeing the successful completion of these beautiful tile jobs. It's really what keeps me going, knowing that what we are doing here is making a difference.
We have had an awesome year. This all started with a trip to Las Vegas for the TISE tradeshow event in February this year. Unfortunately, even though we made the flight down, my wife got diagnosed with pneumonia after having covid and I had to fly back the next morning at 5am. But before that, my employee Zack and I were having a discussion about how we could create a community forum to get people help on their projects. Zack's idea was a Discord channel, since he was familiar with that platform that he used for a stock trading group. But since I already had a website, I really wanted to make my site a "one stop shop". That night I did some research (I couldn't sleep because I was worried about my wife), and found out how to build the forum right on my existing website. After a few more weeks of putting this together I launched the site slowly and had a few of my employees and industry friends join to do a test run. Soon after, I presented it to our TileCoach family (you) and it started to grow. There have been some bugs, and sometimes it still runs a little slow, but overall I feel it has been a huge success. So for that, I thank you for your patience.
We currently have 113 paying Team Members who have access to the advice categories. I want to personally thank each and every one of you who has contributed either by posting your questions or answering others questions. I hope you are getting as much out it as I am. My goal is to double our membership in 2023 and to get more involvement from those of you who have already completed your project...to help the first timers. I think we can do this as we spread the word about the success stories that happen on here and I plan on featuring a few of your projects in live stream videos in the coming months ahead.
Also, I just want to take this time to tell you all that I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you find some time to relax and enjoy the life around you and to contemplate all of the your blessings. I am going to do my best to do that too, so you probably won't see me on here for a week or so as I take some time to be with my family.
