Installing a shower in a Basement slab

I'm getting ready to install a shower in a basement slab where the shower (& toilet and sink) has been stubbed out.

The plan is to move the walls so that the toilet is 12-1/2"from the opposite side of the room that it is now. (See pics) This would place the shower stub out about 23" from the new wall.

(I'm wondering why the shower drain was stubbed out so close to the current wall location).

I also need to verify that a trap was installed below grade for the shower drain.

I'm planning on installing a dry pack slope with hydroban liquid membrane and a FlowFx drain.

I've done this before over a craw space with success thanks to the help of this forum and Isaac's videos.

My concern is that the shower drain is only 12" from the back wall so the drain will be off center in both directions (the shower is going to be 60" x 36" inside the curb). I know that the slope can be achieved in a non symmetrical layout but should I do this?

Or, should I just bite the bullet and jack hammer out the concrete and install the drain where I want it?

The sink drain will also not be in an ideal location when the walls are moved. It will be about 25" from the new wall. I know that I can make it work with a deep Vanity but again, should I? Again, if I'm going to move the shower drain, I can move the sink drain as well.

I know that another way to do this job would be to install a raised floor but, I don't want to do that because the ceilings are only 7-1/2'.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Yeah... I thought of that but, it just still seemed too close to the wall. I guess it doesn't matter for a tub though. Anyway, thanks again for your help... much appreciated!
