Mixing less than a full bag of Multimax lite
The MM Lite instructions state to mix about 5 quarts water with a 25lb bag. But then it later states that if less than a full bag is mixed, use 3.7 parts powder to 1 part water. What the heck is that? Is it volume of powder and volume of water? So they switch from WEIGHT of powder to VOLUME?
Can I just use the same ratio of powder to water as a full bag? That is: 5 qts per 25 lbs... which comes out to about 6.4 ounces water per pound of thinset.
Does the powder weight to water volume ratio hold for smaller amounts?
