After Plumb and leveling the walls for the tile shower area the edge of the dry wall will be higher in some spots make the tile area look sunk in. Or maybe better said the tile shower area will be lower then current drywall in parts, too how off the drywall was. I used laser level in the shower area and it's flat and corners are square. 6' level show level too. Photo shows hardie backer to drywall (can't rotate)
