Delta Universal Shower Valve
I wanted a clarification on setting depth of my Delta Universal valve with water stops.
Can I set the valve depth flush with 1/2" cement board + tile. Then when tile is applied using thin-set, the plastergaurd will be slightly sub-flush (-) 1/8" or so...I will be within the 1/4" sub flush range...

The valve I bought was a Chinese product but it would rival anything Delta makes and the valve has a band that tells you where the finished wall needs to be within. I love it. Got it on Amazon.
