Seven Year Master Bath Remodel
So, I've owned this place for seven years, but didn't get serious until two years ago, even though I had no idea what I was doing! LOL Now, I'm pushing to finish the bathroom, so I can sell the place and move in with my partner.
First I needed to demo the existing bathroom.

The linen closet - builtin.

Built with the same paneling. Yuck.

The old shower surround. Don't you love the wallpaper?! It was a nightmare to remove.

I was really upset when I saw the electrical panel in the same wall where I wanted to put the second shower fixture. One of those combo things.

This wasn't going to work as the tray is 1-1/8", so...

I installed ledgers to drop the floor.

It worked well, but this configuration won't work. I need to notch the joists to drop the floor, so the top of the tray would be below the existing subfloor to allow for the DitraHeat

Ditched the bench on the left as it would be too crowded.

River rock is the entire floor, wood is vanity, granite is countertop, dark beige is bench, walls, and ceiling.
The lighter tile in the background is the existing floor throughout the house.

Your comments/suggestions/help is greatly appreciated! (more photos coming soon as I've begun waterproofing the bench and floor already)

It all depends. Usually tile before the vanity. But different styles, etc. make a difference.
