Porcelain blade questions

I'm planning on 24"x48" porcelain tile for our shower remodel. I plan to rent a bridge saw and buy a Porcellana 10" blade. What grit should I use on a flap disk to clean up the edges? 200 grit?


Any preferences for an angle grinder blade for niche cuts?

I bought a test tile this weekend and tried it on my MD 24" cutter and it didn't do so well. It chipped the corner at the end of the cut but could be user error. It did that before when I was doing floors in our hallway on 12" tile. I think what I'll experiment with is renting a quality cutter (local options are a Marshalltown JP700ST for $17/day). Fortunately all my straight cuts should be on the 24" side. If it can save a $90 blade for a total of 8 cuts, it'll definitely be worth it.
