A year and counting
Been working on the bathroom remodel for just over year now.
The old shower pan cracked several years ago and I did a temp fix that lasted until last year. I decided that if I was going to have to rip it out, I might as well redo the whole bathroom.
This is our only bathroom, but the shower was useless anyway.
I started the demo, replaced the subfloor. Upgraded the ceiling fan and ran new electric lines for the whirlpool tub and heated floor. Took all of the outlets off of a shared line and give them their own. Even got a outlet for the new bidet.
All pipes were ripped out and everything replaced with pex. Built a column for the shower fixtures, a few niches and a foot step for the wife.
Got the electric and support for the led mirror done.
Still working on the dry pack and trying to figure out the drainage with regards to air venting.
Learned a lot so far, but I can see the light.
Will add pictures later on.

Okay, I've never heard of that method. Okay you got that covered.
Yeah, wasn't able to tell about the groove from the pictures.
Okay, you have the membrane banding...advice on that is to be very aware of build up of waterproofing layers...it can get thick.
I just wasn't sure if ya had a plan. Seems like you got it covered.
