Shower pan drain replacement - what to use?
I am newbie here and have followed the Tile coach and love his education which has helped me tremendously on a previous bathroom remodel.
I remodeling my basement bathroom now, it was built in the mid 90's. I do not have access underneath and the substrate is concrete and the pan was a mortar bed with rubber liners which I have removed. My thinking is to use the Schluter system with a curb for the pan, and schluter for all water proofing on the walls.
I NEED ADVICE ON - The below pipe (fitting) is 2" wide and the flange 4" across. Any ideas what would be the best flange/fitting choice for this type of old replacement assembly. Thank you in advance for any suggestions/advice or things to watch out for.

Sometimes they use cast iron oatey drains and they have a compression nut to go on ABS or PVC. That’s probably what it is. Or they put a male adapter on the PVC.
